Our range of treatments

From preventative care to tooth replacement: we offer the entire range of modern dentistry services to keep your teeth healthy and beautiful throughout your life. Here's a quick look at the types of treatments we provide.

Our focus

Prevention: keeping teeth healthy

Regular check-ups will help us to recognise and treat problems such as tooth decay and gum disease in plenty of time. You'll always have a happy smile. Your dentist will recommend a date for your next dental check-up and discuss this with you.

The time to your next check-up could be as short as 3 months or as long as 2 years, depending on your risk of dental problems. This may vary during your life depending on the condition of your teeth, gums and mouth or other changes in your lifestyle.

We offer advice on tobacco and alcohol use, which can cause problems.

We offer advice on teeth cleaning habits- good cleaning will help to reduce your risk of dental decay and gum problems.

Periodontal treatment: looking after the condition of your teeth

We treat any inflammation in your gums to maintain the condition of the supportive tissue around your teeth.

This could be with a scale and polish or more in depth treatment for more advanced gum disease (known as Periodontal Disease)

Fillings, extractions, crowns and bridges

If teeth become damaged, for example through breakage or decay, the dentist may remove the damage or decayed part and fill the tooth with a metal or a tooth coloured filling to restore its function. If the tooth is not salvagable it will be extracted and may be replaced with an artificial tooth.

Some teeth are too damaged to be repaired with a filling but can be crowned. This is sometimes known as a cap and is a tooth-shaped shell made of ceramic, metal or gold which is cemented onto the remaining tooth.

A bridge is an artificial tooth replacement which is attached to adjacent teeth to anchor it. Because of this the adjacent teeth must be strong enough to support the bridge.
